Yasaman is an Intern Architect with a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Architecture from Laurentian University. With experience in mixed-use high-rise, mid-rise, and detached family home design, she is passionate about creating thoughtful, sustainable, and impactful spaces that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings.
Her academic journey has been marked by award-winning projects, recognized for their innovation and sustainability. She has also contributed to the field through design-build structures, bringing concepts to life with hands-on experience in materiality, construction, and spatial dynamics.
Beyond architecture, Yasaman is deeply committed to research and advocacy. She conducted in-depth studies on displacement in Bangladesh and Afghanistan, shedding light on the social, economic, and environmental factors affecting vulnerable communities. She has also been an active supporter of Afghan women, founding a charity dedicated to empowering women in Afghanistan through education, resources, and community-driven initiatives.
Her work is a fusion of technical expertise, human-centered design, and a strong commitment to social impact.
